The whole top floor of our house has eaves closets. These low and deep closets certainly make it difficult for an adult to navigate without a few bumps to the head. Luckily the top floor of the house is kid room territory, and my girls (8 and 5) are the perfect size to enjoy these closets for a couple of more years.
We made one of the closets into a small playroom. It was the perfect solution for storing most of their toys and art supplies so they could have more floor space in their room. One day, hopefully before they are too big, I will boho it up a bit more, but for now, it’s been a fun space for them to use.
