Dumpster Dive Dining Room

This is where we dine.”The dining room table was a dumpster dive find found by my partner’s mother - hence the missing chair! But it’s a Pottery Barn table, so still a score! Originally it was all dark wood, but we sanded and re-stained the top to give it an updated look. The only issue is that it’s not big enough to accommodate our blended family of 7, so we are considering trying to find a leaf (also not found in the dumpster dive), make a leaf, or just make a bench for one side. Making a bench would likely be the easiest choice. But for now when all the kids are here, we let them take over the dining room, and we eat quietly in the kitchen. I actually rather like that arrangement!
